<p>To get you started here is one. In-floor outlet in your dining room/under your couch. </p>
<p>A lot of times we put our laptops on the dining table for one reason or another or might like a lamp in the middle of the room while working on a project etc. To keep cords from running all over, an outlet like this can be installed in the floor.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12px;">Syms Corp., the discount retailer of name-brand clothes, and its wholly owned subsidiary Filene&#8217;s Basement LLC, filed voluntary petitions under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in Delaware. The veteran retailer plans to liquidate the two chains by the end of the year.&nbsp;</span>
<p /><span style="font-size: 12px;">Syms CEO Marcy Syms cited a litany of woes that combined to undermine the two retail operations, including increased competition from large department stores offering the same brands at similar discounts; a proliferation of private label discount chains; decreased buying opportunities as manufacturers reduced overruns through improved supply chain management; together with what she described as the worst economic downturn in her lifetime.&nbsp;</span>
<p /><span style="font-size: 12px;">&#8220;All these factors affected both chains and they came at a time when Filene&#8217;s Basement, which was just emerging from bankruptcy, was already waging an uphill battle to rebuild its customer base,&#8221; Syms said.&nbsp;</span>
<p /><span style="font-size: 12px;">The decision to liquidate followed a months-long process during which the firm&#8217;s board assessed strategic options and alternatives.&nbsp;</span>
<p /><span style="font-size: 12px;">&#8220;After careful consideration (the board) has come to the conclusion that a bankruptcy filing and liquidation is the best way of maximizing value for all stakeholders,&#8221; she added.&nbsp;</span>
<p /><span style="font-size: 12px;">Syms and Filene&#8217;s Basement will be jointly administered during the bankruptcy. The liquidation of stores is expected to run through approximately January 2012.&nbsp;</span>
<p /><span style="font-size: 12px;">Syms and Filene&#8217;s Basement are seeking court approval for Cushman &amp; Wakefield to assist in the sale of company-owned real estate. Syms owns 18 of its locations totaling 1.69 million square feet. It leases another 31 locations totaling 1.8 million square feet, including a 457,000-square-foot warehouse in Auburn, MA.&nbsp;</span>
<p /><span style="font-size: 12px;">For the second quarter (13-week period) ended Aug. 27, Syms had a net loss of $11.5 million compared to a net loss of $10.9 million for the same period a year earlier.&nbsp;</span>
<p /><span style="font-size: 12px;">Net sales decreased by $15.8 million to $86.3 million. Sales were $102.1 million in the comparable period last year.&nbsp;</span></p>
